Glenford Fort Conservation

Help Save Glenford Fort!

HEC is partnering with the Arc of Appalachia, the Perry County Historical Society and the Perry Soil and Water Conservation District to save the southern portion of this magnificent ancient stone work. The property to be preserved includes all of the south wall, the main entrance, the “squircular” enclosure and all the forest on the southern slope. Help us save this rare hilltop complex where sacred ceremonies where held for hundreds of years, spanning both the Adena and Hopewell Cultures. Please donate generously.
